Maurin enjoys YOUniqueness at New Jersey

Anuradha flew down to Kolkata from New Jersey, USA. She met us at YOUnique and desired to gift a YOUnique Umbrella to her boss Maurin.

From her, we came to know that Maurin was a dynamic lady with full of positive energy.

Maurin loves movies and has a strong liking for India and its culture. Precisely, her fondness goes berserk for Indian art forms – which possess intricacy in design and colours.

Also, Maurin loves jungles with all wildness intact and the lady works in a credit insurance firm.

With these dopes on Maurin, our creative adrenalin began to flow.

First, we zeroed in on the base colour of the Umbrella. We chose golden-yellow to exude Maurin’s aura of positivism.

A film strip is done to highlight the fact that the lady is a movie buff.

The parapets and minarets in Rajasthani miniature, the elephant and the badshah on it in Mughal miniature, and the pattern where a tiger and a lion are fighting with each other in vine-configuration are introduced into the design to meet and amplify her fondness for India and the country’s rich heritage of art, as well as for her longing for jungles with the ferocity aplomb.

Finally, the dollar signs with the wings represent Maurin’s credit insurance profession; as if those dollars are the elves from some other planets, providing and ensuring respite and succor to people quite in contrast to the current global credit and financial scenario – that’s anything but insured, to say the least.

Now, if you want to insure your boss’s or any colleague’s YOUniqueness like Anuradha did, we are just a mail away from you at itsyounique@gmail.com

Sanchari gets a YOUnique birthday gift

“It’s interesting!” A mail did hit our inbox with this subject line. Sanjeev from Delhi shot that mail to us, at YOUnique, after he went through our blog itsyounique.blogspot.com.

For his friend Sanchari, he wanted some YOUnique gifts to make her Birthday – that’s on 24th March – memorable and “unique”!

From his answers to our YOUnique questionnaire, we came to know the following “uniqueness” of Sanchari –

She is romantic; loves to befriend but everyone or anyone. Quite open and chirpy to the people she’s comfortable with. However, she’s not humbug rather easy going. She likes the sea and the beach. She travels a lot and pretty dynamic in her approach. Media, precisely Space Marketing, is her profession, and she dons the manager’s cap with The Indian Express Limited. And her nickname is Bubble, truly in line with her easy flowing and supple personality. Moreover, she loves floral patterns and her favourite shades are Pink, Green, Blue and Peach.

We first recommended a YOUnique T-shirt to Sanjeev, and then on a second thought we offered him the duo-combo pack of a T-shirt and an Umbrella. He readily accepted our suggestion and gave us the go ahead.

Our job took off with the T-shirt. We chose Pink as its base colour. Because Pink is very girly, very romantic. On the front, a chirpy and jumping-off-the-sea dolphin is painted within a close circle with a hint of beach as expressed by the coconut trees in vicinity and a floating flower. This composition amplifies Sanchari’s persona and disposition, and her likings at a go.

Two different floral patterns followed in to complement Sanchari’s preference to the same.

On the back, we drew a doll as Sanchari, blowing off Bubble(s) – which is her nickname, incidentally – as if she’s taking herself and her media space in places. And to harp on this fact, one bubble is enlarged to accommodate three major media vehicles such as TV, Radio and Newspaper.

Once we were done with the T, we did lend our nuts to slog on the Umbrella.

We chose green as the Umbrella base. For, green is what that finds favour with both the sun and the rain; so does an Umbrella. Also the shade mingles with Pink in perfect harmony.

We extended the T’s theme up to the Umbrella sans the dolphin. The fish resigned off the Umbrella, since the Umbrella will be used in outdoor only and for lesser time than the T, hence its focal points should be limited and precise.

And in the process, the duo-combo pack of YOUnique items got ready and gifted to Sanchari (by us at Kolkata) on her birthday on behalf of her friend Sanjeev - who cares.

Now, if you want to express the same spirit and affection for your beloved ones with YOUnique gifts, help your mail reach us at itsyounique@gmail.com, today!

Tanni slips into her desired YOUniqueness

From the tinsel town Mumbai, when Tanni approached to us, at YOUnique, for an exclusive and YOUnique T-shirt, it was quite a task; given her dangerously wide and spicy personality nuances iced by some hard-to-reason-n-believe bland facets!

For instance, when her name Tanni means “water” in Tamil, she is naturally effervescent like an uncorked and ever celebrating bottle of champagne! And, mind you, this is just an example, whereas she creates and offers such fallacies everywhere, and in almost everything, every time, simply with a mischievous smile, or with an ear-to-ear grin, or with a thunderous laughter!

That’s why, we knew it was tough to drape Tanni – however we did it, successfully!

The base colour of the T was taken as white to express Tanni’s unprecedented honesty. Frankly in today’s dark episodes of life, she’s a real and rare white script.

On the chest of the T, we simply wrote rather HIGHLIGHTED the real meaning of Tanni within a floral frame – complementing her longing for floral patterns and style.

Then, with the pun intended, we described Tanni as “The Spice of Life” – which also qualifies the indispensable liquid for lives i.e. “water”. This line entailed a floral abstract illusion of water to complete and convey Tanni’s basis of character and persona.

After that, on the backside of the T, we designed the benzene ring with six dancing tea cups and formed the centre of the ring with two asymmetrical musical notes to illustrate Tanni’s profession, which is relationship management, as well as her affinity for “anytime-anywhere adda (gossip)” and “get-me-a-tune n I-can-get-into-a-zing-right-away” mood and spirit.

Should this T-shirt or any other YOUnique item tug at your heartstrings, let your fingers do the rest. Put a mail to us at itsyounique@gmail.com without quenching your burning expectations at all.
